Could Ryan Seacrest Replace Matt Lauer on Today?
Ryan Seacrest and Matt Lauer If Matt Lauer leaves his co-anchor chair on NBC's Today show in 2012, they're transformed by... Ryan Seacrest. The Today producers met while using The The American Idol Show Show host on Tuesday for preliminary talks about possibly succeeding Lauer, the Wall Street Journal reviews. Lauer remains with Today since 1997 and contains been thinking about departing the show. Early Idol? Fox announces midseason schedule Seacrest already works together NBCUniversal, hosting and developing a regular news show round the company's E! network and creating the Kardashians' reality franchise.
