*Other-worldly sci-fi _John Carter_ is currently in production set for
a 2012 release, and English actor James Purefoy has spoken up about
his involvement in the movie.*

Purefoy, who’s best known for _Solomon Kane_ and his role as
Mark Antony in TV show _Rome_, plays Kantos Kan, the captain of a
futuristic airship.

“He's a very cheeky, mischievous soldier/airman,” Purefoy
says of the character. “He's just very charming. He's not
frightened of getting involved in very sticky situations with John
Carter.

“There's a certain bravado about him. He's a bit Errol
Flynn-esque. He has a great lust for life and he's a very positive
character, in the film.”

Purefoy went on to add that _John Carter_ is very much being set up as
the first in a series of movies, with his character to get more screen
time in the projected sequels.

“He's not in this film very much, in the first one,” the
actor says. “I think a lot of the characters in the first _John
Carter_ are established, but with the knowledge that they're going to
be bigger in the next two episodes of it.”

_John Carter_, previously titled _John Carter Of Mars_, follows the
titular human, who finds himself transported to Mars and caught in the
middle of a Martian battle.

_John Carter_ opens 9 March 2012.

As a huge fan of rock, i wanted to discover rock from the Asian roots!
So if any of you guys can recommend some GOOD, japanese rock groups
please do so.I'm looking for anything that is classic rock, punk rock,
alt.rock, or anything that is not related to the likes of metal.
Preferably nothing too "pop" liked, but pop punk is fine(if this
confuses you...i mean nothing that is "Jpop" or anything categorized
under that or anything that is not too "preppy" or "makes you want to
dance" or any rapping in it)I only have one japanese rock band that i
already know which is x japan. So if any of you guys can recommend a
couple of the best-or popular-japanese rock groups that would be
nice.Or if you can't really think of any, Asian rock groups in general
would be fine.

A while back I saw an episode of Airline where this tall intimidating
black man was waiting in line. Somehow he got upset and had a dispute
with the airline. I'm not sure if it was over his luggage or ticket
but they wouldn't allow him on the plane. So then they pulled him out
of the line and then he got ticked off and just said AW HELL NO!! It
was a funny episode. I couldn't find it on you tube or meta cafe.What
season and episode # would this be? Any info would be appreciated.
